His work explores the intersection of technology, migration, identity, and geopolitical systems through digital media, video, and conceptual visual narratives.

Drawing from personal experiences of displacement and cross-border movement, Nazifi investigates how contemporary bureaucratic, technological, and political infrastructures shape human identity and belonging. His practice combines artistic storytelling with technological symbolism, creating hybrid visual languages where human bodies, data structures, and machines intersect.

Biography

Farid Nazifi was born in Mashhad, one of the largest cultural and historical cities in northeastern Iran and an important center of education and culture.

He Started his secondary education at Farhangian Sarallah High School in Mashhad, Graduated with a Diploma in 2012 with a specialization in Experimental Sciences. This scientific foundation later influenced his interdisciplinary interests in technology, systems, and digital structures.

Following his high school education, Nazifi pursued studies in Visual Communication (Graphic Design) at the Ferdows Mashhad Institute of Higher Education in Iran. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, developing a strong foundation in graphic design, visual storytelling, and digital media. His academic qualification was later officially recognized in Germany through the uni-assist evaluation system and the University of Hamburg.

Seeking to expand his knowledge into technological fields, Nazifi later began studying Computer Science at a university in Ukraine, where he focused on digital systems and computational thinking. His studies were interrupted due to the outbreak of war, which forced him to leave the country.
