This video is a visually striking and futuristic montage featuring a blend of human and
robotic elements. The content transitions through various scenes, each highlighting
the fusion of organic and mechanical forms.
VISUAL CONTENT:
1. Opening Scene:
A close-up shot of a person’s face with a digital glitch effect overlays their
features. The image appears distorted with pixelated and fragmented visuals.
The background is dark, emphasizing the subject’s face.1. Robot Sequence:
The scene shifts to a robot standing in a futuristic cityscape. The robot has a
sleek, metallic design with intricate details and glowing accents.
The camera pans around the robot, showcasing its humanoid form and
advanced technology.
The robot’s body is composed of various mechanical parts, including gears,
circuits, and wires.
The background features tall buildings with neon lights, creating a cyberpunk
atmosphere.
1. Human-Robot Hybrid:
The video then presents a series of images where a human figure is seamlessly
integrated with robotic components.
The human’s face is partially replaced with circuitry and electronic parts,
creating a cyborg-like appearance.
The lighting changes dynamically, highlighting different aspects of the hybrid
figure.
The background alternates between solid colors and abstract patterns,
enhancing the futuristic theme.
1. Final Scene:
The video concludes with a full-body shot of the robot walking through the city.

Artist Statement – Farid Nazifi
These works and the accompanying short film are conceived and created by Farid
Nazifi as a critical exploration of motivation, power, and political consciousness in the
age of artificial intelligence. Through hybrid human–machine imagery, the project
reflects on contemporary global events and the evolving relationship between
technology, identity, and geopolitical influence—particularly in connection with the
United States and Germany.
Set against the backdrop of post-Brexit Europe and accelerating AI dominance, the
works examine how political systems shape human agency, migration, and selfhood.
The fragmented, cybernetic bodies function as metaphors for societies under
algorithmic governance—caught between control and autonomy, progress and
erasure.
The project is deeply informed by the artist’s lived experience. Farid Nazifi is a visual
communication designer currently based in Leipzig, Germany, where he resides as a
refugee after fleeing Ukraine. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree
in Visual Communication, officially translated and recognized by the German Ministry
of Education. His asylum process was initiated through the United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
By merging personal history with political analysis, the work positions artificial
intelligence not merely as a technological tool, but as a symbolic force—one that
mirrors contemporary systems of surveillance, displacement, and ideological power.Short film available on YouTube: 🔗 above 👆
